The Lewiston Orchards Irrigation District (LOID) is accepting applications for the position of Chief Financial Officer.
This full-time position manages office personnel, maintains general ledger and assets, reconciles bank statements, reviews billing adjustments, oversees payroll, accounts payable, billing and all G/L posting. Leads budget development, annual audits and prepares monthly financial statements.
The preferred candidates are certified public accountants but is not mandatory. They are familiar with outdoor construction type environment and are able to learn about the LOID processes and safety procedures. Grant writing and Human Resource experience is helpful. LOID provides an excellent benefit package including medical, pension, life insurance, dental, short-term disability, paid holidays, vacations and sick leave.
A valid Idaho driver's license, background check, drug screen and the ability to be insured by the LOID's liability carrier are also requirements for employment. Resumes and LOID applications will be accepted until October 25, 2024.
