Food Service Supervisor/Cook
ROSALIA SCHOOL DISTRICT #320 is accepting applications for a Food Supervisor/ Cook for the 2024-2025 school year. Experience as a Supervisor or Director of Food Services department in a public school system or similar food service setting is preferred. Knowledge or experience with use of Skyward/Qmlativ for Nutrition (or similar system.) The applicant must be able to plan menus to meet USDA requirements including the utilization of commodities; this includes standardization of recipes and setting portions. The applicant must be able to order, prepare, and cook large quantities for school breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Applicant must also be able to maintain and operate commercial cooking equipment. The applicant must be physically able to perform the required work, able to lift a minimum of 45 pounds, and hold a current food handler's permit. The position is 7 hours per day, approximately 185 days per year. Salary range $22.80-$24.68 DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, sick leave and personal leave.
