Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys

Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office accepting applications for two Deputy Prosecutor positions commencing employment October 1, 2024. Positions located in Lewiston, ID at the base of the Hells Canyon and the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers in the Lewis-Clark Valley. Lewiston's relatively mild climate lends accessibility to a variety of outdoor recreational activities all four seasons. Lewis-Clark State College, the University of Idaho and Washington State University are all within 30 minutes of the LC Valley. The Valley is home to 60,000 residents and is served by a regional airport as well as two US Highways.

Positions primarily handle the prosecution of misdemeanor cases. Exempt positions paid $73,000-$86,000 annually, DOE/DOQ.
