Development Director
NAOMI is a Christian faith-based organization that provides a supportive community and services for women and children enduring trauma. Our grace-filled community helps women pursue their personal growth and address barriers to healing trauma such as isolation, unsafe relationships and addiction. An average of 60 families are served each month through one-on-one support, growth groups and community gatherings.

Position Description
- Cultivate new partnership engagement and continually invests in established partnerships to help sustain the mission of the organization through financial and volunteer partnerships
- In coordination with the Executive Director, develop an annual Development and Fundraising plan for the organization
- Through donor-centric relationship-based fundraising practices raise the financial resources needed for the annual budget
- Facilitate outreach efforts to increase mission awareness, partner engagement, financial support for the organization
- Participate in public speaking engagements for the organization
- Lead partner engagement strategies focused on cultivation, stewardship, and relationship management
- Lead planning of fundraising events and appeals
- Pursue grant applications and assists with management
Qualifications and Experience
- A passion to further the mission of NAOMI
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with excellent follow through
- Prefer AA degree in Communications, Marketing or applicable education/experience
- 2 years development and fundraising experience
- Affirm a Christian-faith statement
Compensation
40 hrs per week, starting salary $60k-65k DOE
Professional Development budget
PTO, paid major holidays and $2,400 HRA annually
