Utility Worker

Northwest Offset Printing, located in beautiful Spokane Valley, WA is seeking an experienced Utility Worker to join their team!

Position: Utility Worker
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt
Salary: $18.50/hr.
Hours: Variable, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
Location: Spokane Valley, WA

About this role: The Utility Worker is responsible for skillfully operating compensating compression stackers inline directly off the press as well as performing routine press wiping and training in all aspects of press equipment maintenance.
What you'll contribute to our team: Read and understand all components of job work instruction tickets. Maintain a clean work environment. Master all requirements of operating press stacking machines. Follow all procedures to produce clean, accurate, bundle stacks and pallet product quantities. Work with both press and post employees and supervision to achieve proper results. Identification and recording of any product quality problems. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to problems. Effectively communicate with supervisors and fellow employees. Interpret instructions and make decisions that impact quality and production goals. Follow all companywide and department-specific safety training protocols. Assist First and Second Operator in implementing scheduled preventive maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned by supervision and/or Lead and Second Operator(s)
