Under the direction of the Site Controller, the Purchasing Agent purchases goods and services for the Lucky Friday mine, assists with vendor negotiations for the purchase of materials, supplies, equipment, and services used by the mine, assists with inventory management and backs up general Warehouse operations as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS include:
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Post-secondary education in Purchasing, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Three years' experience in a purchasing position.
• Experience with an inventory management system. Experience with IFS preferred.
• Prior experience in a warehouse setting.
• Prior experience at a mine preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Good communication skills.
