Chief Examiner for Civil Service

Salary: $825.00 monthly-variable hours on PT basis. Not elig. For benefits

Duties: The Chief Examiner works directly for and is directly accountable to the Civil Service Commission. The Chief Examiner will serve as the secretary for the Commission and shall perform all duties that relate to entry level and promotional testing within the Civil Service.

Examples of duties include, creating/posting meeting agendas, preparing Commission packets, attend Civil Serv Commission meetings and record minutes, expense monitoring, post testing opportunities, evaluate testing, post and communicate testing scores, develop and maintain eligibility scoring, others duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Eligible to be employed in U.S., 18 yrs old, a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, communicate clearly in English, understanding of Civil Service Rules, education/experience to select/evaluate testing instruments, proficient in Microsoft Office programs, good organizational skills, have effective working relationship with Civil Service Commission/staff/members, non-user of tabaco, and a resident of Spokane County.
