Chelan PUD is seeking an Engineer Aide, Junior Engineer or Engineer Assistant, based on candidate qualifications.
CONTRACT RATE
Engineer Aide - $37.50/hour
Junior Engineer - $52.37/hour
Engineer Assistant - $55.87/hour
Engineer Aide:
Overview
The Engineer Aide, under general supervision, perform water, fiber-optic and electrical customer service engineering for the District. Initiate stakeholder engagement by meeting directly with internal and external agencies, and customers to assess, design, and communicate the needs and expectations for electrical, fiber-optic and water infrastructure. Prepare applications for easements and permits.
Junior Engineer:
Overview
The Junior Engineer performs water, fiber-optic and electrical customer service engineering and staking duties for the District. Initiate stakeholder engagement by meeting directly with internal and external agencies and customers to evaluate, design, and determine requirements for water, electrical and networks infrastructure.
Engineer Assistant:
Overview
The Engineer Assistant, under minimal supervision, takes a lead role in designing, engineering, and planning of moderate complex work for customer growth, new development, system expansion, and mandated projects required to support the Distribution, Transmission, Water, Wastewater, Networks, and Substation Group's role in providing system capacity and reliability. Works directly with customers and Operation Superintendents managing and scheduling work identified in the annual work plan. Responsible for initiating stakeholder engagement, meeting directly with internal and external agencies, customers and clientele to interpret, evaluate, and design requested Distribution, Transmission, Water, Wastewater, and Networks infrastructure.
