LUMBER YARD MANAGER

Busy Eastern Washington Lumber Yard is looking for a Yard Manager, someone with a proven background in lumber yard operations, to lead our yard team at our facility in Okanogan, WA. As the Yard Manager, you will take charge of all yard associates and oversee the management of inventory coming in and out of our yard. Your daily responsibilities will include directing yard personnel in essential tasks like loading and unloading lumber, preparing material lists for timely deliveries, assisting customers in person to fulfill their needs, and implementing vital training and safety measures. In addition, you will work closely with the General Manager to coordinate truck delivery schedules and ensure that all loaded materials are verified for accuracy and compliance. Maintenance scheduling for trucks and forklifts will also fall under your role. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in lumber yard operations, expertise in forklift operation, and demonstrated skills in managing staff. We provide a comprehensive compensation package that includes a salary plus bonuses ranging from $85,000 to $105,000 based on experience, along with paid medical.
